Catt Plex Cattail Control Aquatic Herbicide
Catt Plex is a glyphosate-based herbicide that eliminates shore and emerged pond weeds to the root. It can also be an effective turf solution for controlling over 1000 troublesome grasses and broadleaf weeds.
Catt Plex is an approved aquatic herbicide not containing any surfactants. Roundup and many other herbicides contain surfactants that are toxic to wildlife, and fish and invertebrates are especially sensitive when exposed. A specifically formulated aquatic surfactant, such as Plex mate, is highly recommended to aid in the absorption of the chemical into the plant.Ā Mix 2 - 3 ounces of Catt Plex per gallon of water to make 1 1/2% solution, which treats an area of approximately 500 square feet.
